Position Profile – Corporate Partner
The firm is seeking an established or up-and-coming corporate lawyer with experience in Corporate, M&A and Private Equity, contributing to the continued growth and leadership of the Canadian corporate practice.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Lead and advise on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate transactions
- Manage and grow key client relationships
- Collaborate with partners across practice groups and jurisdictions
- Contribute to business development initiatives and team leadership
- Mentor and develop junior partners and associates
Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge
- LL.B. or J.D. with strong academic credentials
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Significant experience in corporate and transactional matters
- Portable practice or clear business development plan
- Strong commercial judgment and client management skills
