Job Description – Life Sciences Regulatory Partner

 

The successful candidate will join the Toronto office as a Partner in the Life Sciences Regulatory group, advising clients on complex regulatory, commercial, and strategic matters. The role is designed for a partner who can independently manage files, contribute to business development, and integrate into a robust life sciences platform.

For the right partner, there is scope to bring an associate or join as team to support strategic growth.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Advise pharmaceutical, medical device, and life sciences clients on regulatory matters across the product lifecycle
  • Provide counsel on clinical trials, product approvals, Health Canada interactions, and compliance matters
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with regulatory components, including supply, distribution, quality, and pharmacovigilance agreements
  • Advise on drug pricing, market access, and reimbursement, including provincial listings
  • Manage client relationships and contribute to practice growth and business development initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with partners in Toronto and the firm’s national Life Sciences Regulatory team

 

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge

 

  • 10+ years of experience in Life Sciences Regulatory law (flexible for the right candidate)
  • Deep regulatory expertise in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, or related sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to manage files independently and build trusted client relationships
