Job Description – Associate, Construction 

 

Our client has an immediate opening for a Construction Law Associate to join its team in Calgary.  The ideal candidate will have two to five years of construction law experience. The successful candidate will have exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities 

  • Manage a varied construction law practice.   
  • Provide support to senior counsel and ensure deadlines are met.   
  • Participate in and support business development opportunities.  

 

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge 

  • LL.B. or J.D. degree (or equivalent). 
  • Good standing with a Canadian Law Society. 
  • 2-5 years of construction law experience gained at a top-tier firm. 
  • Excellent oral and written advocacy skills, and exceptional practice standards. 
  • Highly motivated and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
