Job Description – Associate, Commercial Litigation Lawyer

 

Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP has immediate openings for a junior commercial litigation associate lawyer to join its team in Vancouver. The successful candidate will assist clients across a broad range of commercial litigation matters.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Manage a broad and complex commercial litigation practice.
  • Provide support to senior counsel and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Participate in and support business development opportunities.

 

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge

 

  • LL.B. or J.D. degree (or equivalent).
  • Good standing with a Canadian Law Society.
  • 2-4 years of commercial litigation experience at a top-tier law firm.
  • Excellent oral and written advocacy skills, exceptional practice standards, and demonstrated work ethic.
