Job Description – Associate, Litigation (Class Action)

 

Due to ongoing growth, Klein Lawyers is seeking an Associate, Litigation (Class Action) to join its team in Vancouver. As the successful candidate, you will have five to ten years of general litigation experience. Strong advocacy experience, preferably including substantive trial experience will be strongly prioritized for this role. Excellent file management, communication, and strong negotiation skills will make you the ideal candidate.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad and complex class action practice.
  • Participate in and support business development opportunities.

 

Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge

  • LL.B. or J.D. degree (or equivalent).
  • Good standing with a Canadian Law Society.
  • 5-10 years of general litigation experience.
  • Passion for the law in service of client advocacy.
  • Excellent file management, communication, and strong negotiation skills.
